Declaration Module

The declaration module supports fully electronic customs declaration processing for all customs procedures, from a simple export to complicated procedures with economic impact. The declaration module supports the full lifecycle of a declaration:
  1. Declaration submission
  2. Declaration assessment
  3. Risk analysis
  4. Control tasks
  5. Calculation of taxes and guarantees
  6. Post-entry
  7. Cancellation

In addition to normal, complete declarations, declaration module supports simplifications.
In particular, declaration module has full support for:
  1. Incomplete declarations
  2. Simplified declarations
  3. Local clearance

The declaration module also offers support for “self-service” by declarants. To provide faster service to declarants and to reduce customs officers’ workload when dealing with paper documents, declarants can, besides lodging electronic declarations, lodge the following electronic modification requests and electronic cancellation requests.

The declaration module supports all customs procedures by employing the document processing capabilities of CuE, including profiles and processing rules.

The declaration module is supplied with a complete set of customs procedure implementations. In particular, the following customs procedures are completely supported:
  1. Import
  2. Export
  3. Temporary admission and re-export
  4. Temporary export and re-import
  5. Procedures with economic impact: inward processing, outward processing, processing under customs control, end-use
  6. Customs warehousing, excise warehousing and tax warehousing
  7. Free zones

The default rules can be changed easily to accommodate extra checks on document data or to relieve some controls that are not necessary in particular country.
